Project Grants
The PFI Trust Fund was formed exclusively for charitable and educational purposes and especially to offer practicing foresters educational information and instruction so that the public in general will be benefited. Therefore, PFI will offer Grants up to $2,000 to qualified organizations whose programs would fulfill the purpose and objective of the PFI.
Organizations interested in applying for Grants should review the guidelines for submitting a grant application, criteria for selection of grant proposals, and format for submitting a grant proposal. These documents are available on the right.
It is the PFI policy not to pay overhead or indirect costs in these grants.
Candidate Member Grants
The PFI Board has established a Education Programs Fund. The “ACF New Member Education Grant” will provide a partial reimbursement for ACF Candidate Members that register for and successfully complete the “The Practice of Consulting Forestry Class” offered at the ACF Annual Meetings. These monies will be limited to the first twenty-five (25) foresters meeting the new member criteria that register for the class.

Host Chapter Student Grants
Chapters that host the ACF National Conference will have the opportunity to apply for a grant to encourage forestry and natural resources students to attend the annual meeting. These grant monies can be used for registration fees, lodging and meeting activity fees. All requests by the host chapters must be submitted in writing to the PFI Board of Directors.
